Domain Names registered by an organization
For domain names registered by an organization ('hk', '.com.hk', '.net.hk', '.edu.hk', '.org.hk', '.gov.hk') , please follow the procedures below:
Copy and print the application letter on your organization's
letterhead.
Fill in the required information
on the letter.
i) The organization name and
BR/relevant document number must be identical to
the record kept in HKDNR;
ii) Email address - The new password will
be sent by email.
Sign and date the letter by a Director with your
company chop.
Mail the application letter and a copy of your registration
document to HKDNR.
Domain Names registered by an individual
For domain names registered by an individual, please follow the application procedures below:
Print out the application form.
Fill in the required information:
i)The name of the domain
name holder - Must be identical to the one on your
HKID card/passport/relevant document.
ii)Email address - The new password will
be sent by email.
Sign and date the application form.
Attach a copy of your individual identification
(ie. Hong Kong ID card number for holders of age 18
or above.) Please refer to the registration rules on
the HKDNR website for more details on the required documentary
proofs. For those aged below 18, please also send in
your parents/guardians' duly signed copy of documents
certifying their legal presence and relationship.
